Hello, everyone! Today we did a simple activity that you can do with kids of all ages - rock painting! From simple to fancy you can never go wrong with some nature and paint! Jax is 2, so he enjoyed mixing all the colors of paint into a nice purpley brown and covering the rock completely! Haha! My brother also joined in and he made some awesome designs including some stripes and he painted Flounder - the fish from The Little Mermaid!
We gathered all of the rocks we painted from my parent's backyard, but look around and see what you can find! Take a walk and find some cool looking rocks along the way! We used regular acrylic paints and brushes - things you may already have on hand! Share your rock painting designs with us using in our Facebook group!
